Midnight Privacy Policy
Midnight is a limited-access AI voice advisor for founders, operated by Wild Ventures SL. This policy covers the Midnight website, waitlist, beta app, voice sessions, saved briefings, and Agent API. It does not cover independent apps you connect to Midnight. Contact info@wildventures.nl with questions or privacy requests.
What we handle
We handle four types of information:
- Account and waitlist details, including your name, email address, sign-in identifiers, and beta status.
- Conversation content, including your voice and transcript, typed messages, AI responses, and any files, links, or screen content you choose to share.
- Saved work, including briefings and limited context used to continue earlier conversations when you ask.
- Technical records, including IP address, device and browser details, usage, errors, security events, and Agent API access.
We need an email address to manage waitlist access and sign-in details to provide an account. Other content is optional, but related features cannot work without it.
We use this information to run Midnight, manage beta access, create responses and briefings, support users, secure the service, fix problems, and comply with law. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform our agreement with you, pursue our legitimate interests in operating and securing Midnight, meet legal obligations, or act on your consent. You may withdraw consent where it applies. Midnight does not make legally significant decisions about you.
Voice, AI, and connected apps
Service providers carry the live session, transcribe speech, generate responses and briefings, and produce spoken audio. Other service providers handle sign-in, storage, hosting, and security. They receive the information needed for those services.
Midnight does not save call audio or full transcripts in your account history. We disable audio recording and transcript upload. Operational logs and traces may be kept for 30 days. We do not save uploaded files or screen-share recordings in your account, but a briefing may summarize or refer to information from them. The original file or recording is not included in the briefing.
Provider retention and model-improvement use depend on the service, contract, and account settings. We do not promise zero retention or that every provider excludes all service-improvement use.
An app with your Agent API key can search and read your saved briefings, but not call audio, full transcripts, or private system records. You can revoke a key in Agent access. Revocation stops future access through that key but does not delete copies the app already received.
We may also disclose information when law requires it, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer.
Storage and deletion
We keep account information and saved work while your account exists, unless you delete a briefing or request earlier deletion. We keep waitlist information until you create an account, ask us to remove it, or the waitlist closes. Security, support, provider, and backup records may remain for their applicable retention periods. Some AI features may keep prompts, supplied context, and outputs for up to 30 days.
You can delete briefings and your account in account settings. Account deletion removes your profile, briefings, and continuity data from our active database after processing. We keep a limited account-deletion record so delayed system events do not recreate the data. Provider records and backups expire separately. We may keep information needed for legal obligations, security, or disputes.
Your rights and choices
Depending on local law, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your information. You may also withdraw consent, appeal our response, or complain to your data-protection authority. Contact info@wildventures.nl. We may verify your identity and will respond within the time required by law.
We use cookies and browser storage for sign-in, security, preferences, and session continuity, not advertising. Browser controls can block them, but required features may then stop working.
Our providers process information in the United States. Where required, we rely on European Commission adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. Contact us for details or a copy of the relevant safeguards.
We use reasonable safeguards, but no service is completely secure. We will update the date above when this policy changes and give additional notice where law requires it.
